ABOUT US

We are a grassroots, non-partisan citizens' action group dedicated to protecting Santa Cruz County neighborhoods from the dangers posed by lithium battery energy storage systems (BESS). We advocate for safe, non-lithium battery technology, transparency, and our community's voice in the decision-making process. By raising awareness, educating the public and advocating for safe community environments, we work to prevent the development of hazardous lithium BESS facilities near homes, schools, hospitals, congregate care facilities, farms and natural habitats.
